Under Canada’s Express Entry draw 3,350 candidates were issued with invitations to apply by the immigration, Refugees and citizenship Canada which took place on 30th January 2019.
Mr. Attorney David Cohen said in a statement that if draw sizes remain comparatively larger. We may see lower CRS thresholds deeper in 2019. Adding to his previous statement he said it is clear that large draw sizes and falling CRS cut off thresholds are linked. We can look forward to more invitations being issued through the 2nd quarter of this year and beyond.

The New York Times newspaper has named Canada its top destination for 2017. Canada is huge - the world's second-largest country by area. It’s also a world unto itself, with cosmopolitan cities, barely explored natural wonders and everything in between, says the newspaper.
1 in every 5 Canadian citizens are immigrants born outside the country. Canada welcomes over 300,000 immigrants every year. Not only is it an amazing place to start a new life, but also to visit. Be you an immigrant or a tourist, 2017 is the year to be there! In honor of the 150th anniversary of its confederation, when the original colonies came together as one country, Canada is rolling out the welcome mat.
Canada’s Express Entry immigration selection system continues to grow, giving more aspiring immigrants the opportunity to obtain permanent residence. The latest draw, which took place on January 25, issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to 3,508 candidates in the pool with 453 or more Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points.
Once again, this is the largest draw of all time. In fact, the same was said for the past four draws, each of which was at that time larger than any previous draw. So far, 2017 has been a breakout year for the Express Entry system. More candidates have been invited to apply this month than in any other month since the system was first launched more than two years ago.
